The final Kansas Volleyball Association regular-season rankings were released Wednesday with McPherson High moving up one spot to No. 3 in Class 4A Division I.

MHS trails only defending champion Bishop Miege and Topeka Hayden. Ulysses, which is the top seed in the upcoming McPherson sub-state, is No. 9 despite having the fewest losses in the class as it’s 34-2.

Hesston dropped a spot in Class 3A as it’s No. 4. Ahead of the Swathers are Silver Lake, Hillsboro and Douglass.
