Given the fact McPherson College’s men’s soccer team shut out two more opponents this past week, it was no surprise that a Bulldog was picked KCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
Danny Cajella, a senior from Oceanside, Calif., was a focal point of a Mac defense that registered shutouts 6 and 7 on the season.
The Bulldogs’ Tanner Horton was the KCAC defensive pick last week.
Mac and Kansas Wesleyan are tied for the KCAC lead at 6-0-1 with two games remaining. The Bulldogs still have to play last-place Southwestern and third-place Bethany, while Wesleyan plays Saint Mary and Sterling, which have a combined three wins in conference play. The regular season ends on Nov. 4.
