LINDSBORG — Friends University, which entered Saturday afternoon with just two KCAC volleyball losses, had no trouble with Bethany College at Hahn Gym

The Falcons, now 14-2 in the conference, won 25-12, 25-17, 25-19. The Swedes are now 0-16 in the KCAC and 3-24 overall.

Whitney Williams led the Swedes with six kills. Ariel Buhr had 18 digs and Eileen Vlamis was tops in assists with 14.

“We did not do a very good job shutting down their middle hitters today," Bethany coach Nathalea Stephenson said. "It caused our back row to guess which direction they were going to hit and put us at a huge disadvantage. Once we made the adjustment, we did a much better job. The girls have to listen and make the adjustments when they're told to do that and not wait until the third set."

The Swedes host KCAC leader Kansas Wesleyan on Monday.
