It’s not often the KCAC awards a football player in defeat, but McPherson College’s Trent Forrester was too good to be ignored.

However, this time he earned the Special Teams Player of the Week award after being KCAC Defensive Player of the Week after the Bulldogs’ victory over Kansas Wesleyan in Week 4.

Against Sterling Saturday, Forrester averaged 41 yards punting and both of his punts were downed inside the Sterling 20-yard line

He also blocked a punt that he scooped up and returned 59 yards for a touchdown. The linebacker recorded nine total tackles, seven that were solo in the Bulldogs’ 31-28 loss.
