MANHATTAN — McPherson College’s men’s basketball team saw a 22-point lead disappear into a four-point deficit Tuesday night, but the Bulldogs eventually regained their footing for an 85-76 victory.

Mac was ahead 26-4 10 minutes into the game, but the Thunder lived up to their name by thundering back to eventually lead 66-62. Mac took the lead for good after a 6-0 run pushed the lead to 68-66.

More details will be provided upon receipt. Due to a computer malfunction, stats were not available at posting time.

Mac, now 2-0, plays in the Johnson and Wales Classic this weekend in Denver. Northern New Mexico, which defeated expected KCAC power Saint Mary recently, is the opponent Friday and Johnson and Wales is Saturday’s foe.
