Kansas 35th District State Senator Clark Shultz will be speaking at Central Christian College on Wednesday as part of the twelfth BG Products Lecture Series. The endowed lecture series was created through a gift from BG Products, Inc,, with headquarters in Wichita.
Senator Shultz is an Emory Lindquist Honors graduate from Wichita State University and received his Master of Business degree from Baker University. He previously served in the Kansas House of Representatives where he was Chairman of the Insurance Committee and Chariman of the Rules Committee for nine years.
Shultz has also worked in the title insurance business for the past 16 years and is President of Land Title Insurance. He and his wife Lori have six children and live in McPherson County.
The 8:30 a.m. session will focus on "Is Healthcare an Individual Right?" and is open to the public. This session will be in the Broadhurst Student Center in the Upper Dining Room, on the campus of Central Christian College (corner of South Maple Street and Avenue F).
