Cold Lady Tigers blown out

MOORE, Okla. — Central Christian College’s women continued to struggle to shoot a high percentage in their Grinnell-style offense Saturday, making just 29 percent of their shots in a 97-60 loss to Hillsdale in the Hudiburg Classic.

The Lady Tigers casted off 38 3-point attempts and missed 34 of them. Hillsdale buried CCC in the first half, 60-24.

Central, which had won 12 of the 18 previous meetings between the teams, was led by Kelly Smit and Ashlyn Garza with 12 points apiece and MacKenzie Woods added 11.

CCC, now 1-4, hosts McPherson College on Tuesday.
