Saint Mary’s women's 5K with a total of 47, followed by Ottawa (54), Friends (93), Southwestern (143), Tabor (150), Sterling (153), McPherson College (176), Kansas Wesleyan (179), Bethel (212), and Bethany (218).
Each of the Bethany women had lifetime personal records at the KCAC Championships. Elizabeth Benoit represented the Swedes in the Top 20 with a 19th-place finish. Benoit ran a 20:12, nearly a one minute PR. Araceli Aburto placed 32nd at 20:51.4.
Melissa Olson took 48th with a 21:42.8 performance, followed by Macey Dinkel in 69th with a 23:24.8 time. Layne Gilliland completed the Bethany lineup with an 84th place finish at 25:40.7.
"I could not ask any more of our individuals," Bethany coach Aaron Yoder said. "Our entire team had personal records. We had nine lifetime PRs and one seasonal PR. I am so proud of how we concluded our season. It is too hard to single out one performance since everyone competed so well, and that is a good problem to have. We are very encouraged going into the indoor season.”
