Saturday morning slick roads cause accident which kills McPherson man

A fatality accident just east of 17th Avenue on Comanche Road early Saturday morning claimed the life of a 61 year old McPherson man. The accident took place at 6:45 Saturday morning on Comanche, 443 feet east of the intersection with 17th.

A 1998 Chevy pickup driven by 61 year old Terry Jarvis of McPherson crossed over due to the slick roads and hit a bridge rail.

The vehicle was hanging out over the bridge when Sheriff's officers arrived. Jarvis was transported by Moundridge EMS to McPherson Hospital. He later died of his injuries.
