JUNCTION CITY — McPherson’s eighth-grade A-girls have yet to be challenged in two basketball games during the young season.
The Bullpups were a 44-12 winner over Junction City on Monday as Hannah Hageman and Lauren Hein tossed in 12 and 10 points, respectively. The deep Bullpups placed nine girls in the scoring column.
The B-team also had no problem as Katelyn Beam’s 14 points and 12 more by J’anae Spaich led a 45-18 domination, its second straight win
“The girls played hard and once again shared the ball well,” MMS coach Jay Crawford said. “We still need to continue to work on things, but the season is early. Our players work very hard and want to continue to improve. We will play Thursday at Abilene and the girls will be ready.”
