The McPherson College Basketball Classic will consist of four games on Friday and three on Saturday at the Sport Center.
All games will be broadcast on 96.7 KBBE-FM, with Nick Gosnell handling the play-by play.
The action begins on Friday afternoon with the Kansas Wesleyan women taking on undefeated Haskell at 2 p.m., followed by the Haskell men against Bethel at 4.
McPherson College’s teams take center stage in the evening session, the women playing York College at 6 p.m. and the men going up against Baker at 8.
Saturday’s schedule starts at noon with York’s women playing Kansas Wesleyan. Mac completes the day with games against Haskell, the women at 2 p.m. and the men at 4.
The Mac women are 1-6, the only win coming against Central Christian College. This is a busy week for the Bulldogs, as they played an exhibition game Wednesday at Fort Hays State before the back-to-back games this weekend.
After Saturday, Mac has one more non-conference game left before the start of KCAC play. The Bulldogs host future KCAC member Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday, then are off until Dec. 4 when they play at Bethany in their conference opener.
The Mac men will be returning to play after a 10-day absence. They are 3-2, their last game an 81-71 loss to crosstown rival Central Christian College.
Baker is always a tough game for the Bulldogs, while Mac already owns a win over Haskell, though the Bulldogs had to overcome a halftime deficit.
The Bulldogs play two games next weekend in Nebraska, Nov. 28 against Hastings and Nov. 29 against Doane. The KCAC opener is Dec. 4 at Bethany.
