Lady Tigers swamp Manhattan Christian, 83-16

It was a stat-filler game for Central Christian College’s women here Friday night.

The Lady Tigers overwhelmed Manhattan Christian College 83-16 at Alexander Arena, holding the Thunder to an almost-unreal four points in the second half.

CCC forced 38 turnovers on the defensive end. Manhattan Christian had only six players take the court and just three of them scored.

CCC, which improved to 3-7, was led by MacKenzie Woods with 15 points. Ashlyn Garza scored 11 and Ciara Costello furnished 10.

Central plays an exhibition game Tuesday at Missouri Southern State.

Manhattan Christian (16) — Neubert 5, Myers 2, Black 9.
