McPherson College’s men’s basketball team plays its final game before Christmas tonight and it doesn’t even count toward its record.

The Bulldogs play an exhibition game at Emporia State at venerable White Auditorium. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Because Emporia State is an NCAA Division II school, the game won’t show up on the Bulldogs’ record.

Mac then takes some much-needed time off as it doesn’t play again until it makes a trip to Iowa to take on a pair of powerhouse teams in Morningside and Briar Cliff on Dec. 29 and 30, respectively.

Mac then goes to Baker on Jan. 3 before returning to KCAC play by playing Jan. 8 at Sterling.

The Bulldogs, after a 3-1 start, are 4-9 overall and 1-3 in the KCAC.
