Junior Eagles now 5-1 on season

LOST SPRINGS — Elyria Christian Junior High’s boys doubled up Centre 38-19 on Thursday.

There was no stopping Caleb Froese, who was a wrecking machine with 23 points and he also pulled down seven rebounds. Aidan Fields chipped in with 11 points.

Elyria took command early with a 15-6 first-quarter run and in the fourth quarter it held the Cougars to just two points.

The Junior Eagles are now 5-1. They are now off until January.

The Elyria girls lost 33-18 and are 1-5. The ECJH JV boys won 40-11 to move to 5-1. Scoring for those games was not reported.
