Five CCC soccer players honored for academics

Five Central Christian College soccer players have been named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Senior defender Amanda Curtis, and juniors Haley McMath (a midfielder) and Twila Smedley (goalie) were honored. On the men's side, senior midfielders Josh Black and Ray Anderson made the list.

Honorees are nominated by their head coach and in order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
