Central Christian College’s basketball teams will inch ever closer to the start of MCAC play with two more nonconference games this week.

It starts on Thursday when the CCC teams play at Grace University in Omaha, with the women starting at 5 p.m. and the men at 7.

The Lady Tigers have a shot at redemption as they played the Royals earlier in the season at Alexander Arena, losing a narrow 81-78 decision. It was a game the Lady Tigers led at halftime, but then surrendered 55 points in the second half.

CCC takes a 4-9 record into the game and Grace is 2-12.

The Tiger men have yet to play Grace this year. Central takes a 9-3 record into the contest while Grace is 7-9.

Both Central teams are home on Saturday to play Hillsdale Baptist, with game times 3 and 5 p.m., respectively. The Tiger men lost to Hillsdale 85-76 earlier this season. The Lady Tigers suffered a 97-60 setback that same night.
