McPherson College’s Perry Joseph is the first recipient of the KCAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Joseph received his honor for his performances at the Scott Nisely Memorial meet this past weekend.

He ran a 6.87 in the 60, which is one-hundredth off the school record he set a week earlier. He already has won that event twice in as many meets this season.

Joseph, from Seminole, Fla., is currently 6th in the NAIA and has already qualified for Nationals. The senior was also a part of the McPherson College 4 x 400 relay team that finished fourth and set a school record for the second straight week with the time of 3:28.5.

The Bulldogs will be in Lincoln, Neb., this weekend as they compete at the Prairie Wolf Invite, hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
