The Canton-Galva and Inman girls were both victorious Tuesday in the Sedgwick Invitational.
The Eagles won an exciting 38-37 decision over the host Cardinals. C-G outscored Sedgwick 15-7 in the second quarter to rally from an early deficit and it was close the entire way.
Cassidy Enns’ 15 points led the Eagles.
• Inman 33, Wichita Independent 29 — The Teutons improved to 4-7 with the win, but no scoring was available.
• Ell-Saline girls 52, Little River 23 — At the Hilltop Classic in Great Bend, the Redskins trailed all the way.
Little River is now 1-11. Scoring was not available.
• Smoky Valley boys 50, Trinity Catholic 47 — The Vikings made it two straight victories as they rallied in the fourth quarter for the win
The Vikings trailed by two points entering the fourth quarter, but outscored the Celtics 15-10 over the final eight minutes.
Smoky Valley had nice balance. Cole Norberg led the way with 13 points, Trey Schneider tallied 11 and Nick Reinert chipped in with 10.
• Trinity Catholic girls 31, Smoky Valley 26 — In a defensive slugfest, the Vikings were held to 13 points in both halves and while they played good defense —they allowed only one point in the fourth quarter – they came up short.
Hannah Hattabaugh led the Vikings with 10 points. She also pulled down eight rebounds.

Moundridge girls 55, Little River 10 — The Wildcats pitched an 18-0 first-quarter shutout at the Great Bend Hilltop Classic.
Eight Wildcats scored, with Ashley Holler, Michelle Schrag and Cassidy Siemens all scoring nine points.
