There’s a little over four hours remaining to vote in the USA Today’s contest to determine the best boys basketball program in America.

McPherson High, which was the Kansas winner, currently is embroiled in a neck-and-neck race with Ames, Iowa, for the regional championship. At the time of this posting, McPherson has about a 2,000-vote lead after being far behind just a few days ago.

There is a link on the right side of our website to vote. The eight regional winners, plus two wild-cards, advance to the finals. If McPherson wins the regional, it’s assured of receiving a banner.

The top three placers in the finals receive cash prizes that go to the athletic department.
