KCAC honors Mac's Brown, Hill

McPherson College came away with two KCAC basketball honors today.

The Bulldogs’ Bailey Brown was named the women’s Offensive Player of the Week. The 5-4 junior averaged 22.5 points as the Bulldogs split games with Bethel and Kansas Wesleyan. She shot 60 percent from the field for the week and 77 at the line.

She is leading the KCAC in scoring at 17.6.

Darius Hill was named the Men’s Defensive Player of the Week as the Bulldogs went 2-0 with triumphs over Bethel and Kansas Wesleyan.

Hill, a lengthy 6-5 senior, was a tower of power off the glass, pulling down 24 rebounds in two games (12.0). He also was a monster on the offensive end as he averaged 24.5 points. 

Against Bethel, Hill held Adam Arciniega to 20 points on 7-of-19 shooting. He came into the game scoring nearly 25 points a game.
