According to the Hazardous Weather Outlook from the Wichita National Weather Service Office, this is definitely a day to bundle up and be prepared for light snow.
"Light snow will develop across Central Kansas this morning and spread south and east through the afternoon hours. The best chance for light accumulations up to an inch will be across Central through East Central Kansas and points northward. The remainder of the area will only receive a dusting or less. North winds will send wind chill values below zero across much of the area tonight."
The good news is, this system is short-lived. Temperatures will be back in the thirties Thursday afternoon and in the sixties by the weekend.
