According to a post on Facebook, the Moundridge Park Board is soliciting groups to assist with the construction of a new playground in the open area of Pack Park just north of the parking lot. The Board hopes to make it happen with work on March 21st and 28th, 2015.

According to the Facebook post, "We will rely heavily on any and all citizens like you to help build, feed hungry volunteers, watch children and much more! Moundridge has an abundance of talent and we welcome them all on our work team. Join us and be a hero to Moundridge youth both current and in the future."

Morning and afternoon volunteer hours are available both days. If you are available to volunteer, contact a park board member, stop by the City Office, place your name on the signup sheet in front of the Post Office, at the grocery store or email [email protected] Please specify the hours you are available and how you would like to help.

You can help by working for a period of time, lending tools to those who are able to work, providing refreshments for the workers, helping with childcare for volunteers or making a financial donation.

The members of the Moundridge Park Board are: Gina Wedel, Jenni Guyer, Amber Durst, Faith Ward and Del Hueske.
