ASD Button contest deadline approaches, entries needed by February 13

There is just over a week left to finish up your button design for the 102nd All Schools Day celebration May 4 to 9, 2015. The theme for the celebration is #ASD2015: Bringing Friends Together.

The ASD button contest is open to all residents of and those with ties to McPherson County. Entries must be submitted to the ASD Committee at the McPherson Chamber of Commerce by Friday, February 13th at 5 p.m.

Designers should keep the theme in mind while creating their design. A cash prize of $200.00 will be awarded to the creator of the winning design, which will be reproduced on the official 2015 All Schools Day button and other promotional materials. The buttons are sold to support many of the activities of the week long event.

The design must be no larger than 11 inches in diameter, as it will be reduced to fit on a button that is approximately two inches in diameter.

Entries may use up to 4 colors on a white background.

All artwork must be original. Original computer-generated graphics are allowed. However, the use of clip art is prohibited.

Design must be camera-ready.

You are allowed to submit a brief description of your design, though it is not necessary. The design itself should explain the theme.

Multiple entries by individuals are allowed.

Entries will be judged by the executive committee and buttons will be available in early April.
