Kansas has a brand new millionaire, following last night’s big Powerball drawing! One ticket, sold in northeast Kansas, matched the first five numbers to win $1,000,000. The winning numbers from the February 11 Powerball drawing are 11-13-25-39-54 Powerball 19 Power Play 3.
Another ticket, sold in southwest Kansas, matched four of the first five numbers, plus the Powerball, to win a $10,000 prize. Altogether, Kansas Lottery players won a total of 44,403 prizes worth $1,257,029 in last night’s Powerball drawing.
Kansas Powerball players dreaming of winning the “big one” came out in great numbers to make sure they had their tickets for last night’s drawing. Sales were extremely strong, with a total of $2,940,367 in Powerball sales recorded in Kansas.
The $564 million Powerball jackpot in last night’s drawing will be split among winners in three lotteries. Tickets sold in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico matched all numbers and are each worth an estimated $188 million (annuity). The Powerball jackpot returns to $40 million for Saturday’s drawing.
In other drawings, no ticket matched all numbers in Hot Lotto, so the jackpot rolled to an estimated $4.66 million for Saturday. Super Kansas Cash rolled to $110,000. There was one $2,000 Super Kansas Cash ticket sold in south central Kansas.
Kansas’ first millionaire of the week was created in the February 9 Super Kansas Cash drawing when a ticket sold in northeast Kansas matched all numbers to win a $1,755,857 cash jackpot. The lucky winner has not yet come forward to claim his or her prize.
