CCC bats silent in losses to Friends

WICHITA — The Friends Falcons completed a three-game baseball sweep of Central Christian College on Saturday.

The Tiger bats struggled mightily in 11-2 and 8-0 losses as they dropped to 2-8 on the year while Friends is white-hot out of the gate at 8-0.

The Tigers produced only two hits in the first game, singles by Caleb Gorman and Lee Stoops, who had an RBI along with Michael Barnhart.

Sean Day took the loss.

The Tigers were again held to two hits in the second game, singles by Stoops and Taylor Bauman. Keaton Snyder took the loss.

Central heads to Dallas next weekend for a three-game series against Dallas Christian.
