It’s the Year of the Bluejays in the KCAC.

Both Tabor College teams clinched no worse than a tie for KCAC basketball championships with victories Thursday night.

The Tabor men have a one-game lead over Saint Mary going into Saturday’s games. The Bluejays have no bargain as they host Ottawa, while Saint Mary goes to McPherson College. Saint Mary is assured of no worse than second after defeating Bethany on Thursday.

Tabor’s women will take a one-game lead over Southwestern into the final night of the regular season. The Moundbuilders don’t have an easy game as they’re on the road to Kansas Wesleyan. However, Southwestern can finish no worse than second.
