LINDSBORG – Bethany College is looking for a new women’s soccer coach after it was announced on Friday that Sean McMannis would not be back for his fifth season.

"I would like to thank coach McMannis for his service to Bethany College," Dean of Athletics Dane Pavlovich said.

The search for a replacement is under way.

In his four years with the Swedes, McMannis compiled an overall record of 26-41-4 and a 17-17-2 record in the KCAC.

In 2013, Bethany finished second in the KCAC and made it to the conference semifinal game. He was named KCAC Coach of the Year, seven Swedes earned All-KCAC honors and Sarah Henderson was selected KCAC Freshman of the Year.

This past season, the Swedes were fourth in the KCAC and again competed in the KCAC semifinal game. Six players were All-KCAC honorees.

Henderson was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Year and an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American.
