McPherson College’s Darius Hill was a unanimous selection to the All-KCAC basketball first team announced today.
Hill was joined on the six-man first team by KCAC Player of the Year Grant Greenberg of Saint Mary, Cameron Clark of Southwestern, Andrew Thomas of Tabor, Cody Harris of Bethany and Toby Baxter of Friends.
Second-team picks included Adam Arciniega of Bethel, Marshon Norfleet and Adam Hasty of Ottawa and Jonathan Gidson of Bethany.
Third-team picks included Gary Jones of Bethany, Malik Brooks of Tabor, Jordan Thomas of Saint Mary, Jacob Lunz of Kansas Wesleyan and Braden Thompson of Sterling.
McPherson College’s TJ Grant was picked honorable mention along with Bethany’s Nathan Coleman.
Others were William Tisdale of Southwestern, Dewayne Biggs and Lance Carter of Tabor, Brett Williams and Brandon Johnson of Friends, Preston Oakes and Alex Lundry of Ottawa, and Rolando Gardner of Sterling.
Micah Ratzlaff, who led Tabor to the KCAC championship, was named Coach of the Year.
McPherson College’s Louis Parker III shared Co-KCAC Freshman of the Year honors with Keion Criswell of Kansas Wesleyan. Others on the All-Freshman Team included Arique Moss of Kansas Wesleyan, Jacob Miller of Bethel and Alex Peterson of Bethany.
Bethany’s Harris was named Newcomer of the Year.
Bethany’s Coleman and Friends’ Lawrence Anderson were co-winners of the Defensive Player of the Year honor. Rounding out the All-Defensive Team were Lundry of Ottawa, Matt Swank of Sterling and Marcus Mondaine of Saint Mary.
