Four McPherson College Bulldogs have received All-American status from the USA College Football Association.

Jimmy Wilson, Trent Reif, Will Thacker and Ben Kimbrough III were honored.

Selections are contributed by panels of NAIA Head Coaches, Sports Information Directors, National, Regional and Local Broadcast & Print Media, American Football Coaches Association, Regional Football Writers' Associations, Professional Football Franchise Scouts and Certified Players' Agents as well as the staff of USA Football Network, Inc.

Wilson, the Bulldogs’ lone first-team recipient, was one of 18 linebackers to make the list. He paced the team in tackles with 88, including 52 solos, and 19 of those were for a loss. He recorded four sacks along with five pass breakups, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Reif and Thacker were named honorable mention offensive players. Thacker, who started every game for the Bulldogs on the offensive line, was named All-KCAC second team earlier this year. Reif made the transition to fullback for McPherson this season and had a solid senior campaign.

Kimbrough also was named honorable mention for defense. He led the team in sacks with six for 41 yards and also tallied 50 total tackles with 32 being solo. The senior also had three fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.
