Central Christian College’s men’s basketball team has had some time off since losing in the finals of the MCAC South Division Tournament, which ended its chances of competing in the NAIA National Tournament.

But because the college carries a dual affiliation with the NCCAA, its season is not yet over.

The Tigers should be refreshed when they compete Thursday in the semifinals of the NCCAA Central Regional at Paragould, Ark.

The Tigers, 17-13, play top-seed Colorado Christian at 2:15 p.m. A victory and they play the winner of Dallas-Baptist and Crowley’s Ridge.

The championship game is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
