SALINA — Kansas Wesleyan pounded away from start to finish on a windy Monday to rout Central Christian College 24-8 in a single, nine-inning baseball game.

The highlight for the Tigers, now 5-21, was a three-run homer by Chance Carney. Central went with second-line pitching after using up their starters over the weekend in a four-game series with MCAC power Central Baptist College.

It doesn’t get any easier for Central today with a twinbill at Doane College, ranked No. 16 in the country.
