The Canton-Galva School Board accepted the resignation of High School principal Brent Kaempfe at a special board meeting Thursday night. Superintendent Bill Seidl said that the special board meeting was called in order to allow him to publicize the availability of the position a little earlier, as he didn't want to wait until the regular April meeting to begin the search.
Kaempfe will be working for the Greenbush consortium in Eastern Kansas. He is moving to be closer to family, and will work for the consortium as a School Improvement Administrator.
Kaempfe served the Canton-Galva district for three years.
