Softball Bulldogs lose twice on Saturday

It continues to be a tough year for McPherson College’s softball team.

The Bulldogs lost two more games on Saturday to Sterling as they are now 0-4 in the KCAC, 3-22 overall.

Sterling won the first game 6-2 as Mac could manage only four hits. McPherson High grad Emily Davis continues to be a bright spot as she had two of the hits, one of them a double. Amanda Connell took the loss.

The Bulldogs were overwhelmed in the second game, 15-5. The Warriors scored all their runs in the first four innings.

Simone Donaldson had a great game in defeat with a homer, single and three RBIs. Kaylee Lozier took the loss.

The Bulldogs will try to snap their 13-game losing streak on Wednesday when they play at Bethel.
