Central Christian College’s Keith Cheuvront was the overnight leader in the Tigers’ two-day golf tournament at Turkey Creek, but Mid-America Christian’s Jerry Miller rallied to overtake him for medalist honors on Tuesday.
Cheuvront shot a 73 on Monday for a one-shot lead, but came back with a 78 on Tuesday for a 151. He was deemed second place after a scorecard playoff.
Miller shot rounds of 75-74-149 for medalist. Bethany’s Lex Deal was third with a 74-77-151.
CCC’s Brady Sherman took fourth place with 78-74-152. Other Tiger scores were Mathew Hargett (89-88-177) and Dustin Rojas (103-100-203).
Mid-America Christian was first with a two-day 625, two shots better than Bethany. Central shot 683 for third.
