Tigers lose to nationally ranked Bluejays

Nationally ranked Tabor College improved its baseball record to 33-4 here Tuesday with a 12-2 victory over Central Christian College as both teams treated the game as an opportunity to go deep into their benches.

Tabor took all the suspense out of the game with five runs in the first inning. Both Tiger runs came in the fifth. Reynaldo Echenique had two hits to lead Central. Six Tiger pitchers toed the slab.

Central is now 7-30 on the season. The Tigers host Bellevue University for two games on Friday and two more on Saturday.
