Bulldog men netters stun NCAA II Emporia State

EMPORIA — McPherson College’s men’s tennis team recorded an important victory earlier this week when it outlasted NCAA Division II power Emporia State, 5-4.

The difference was doubles, where the Bulldogs won two of three matches. The teams split the six singles matches.

Ahmed Lahlou won the clinching match for the Bulldogs at No. 2 singles.

McPherson College will be in KCAC action for the first time on Saturday as it hosts Kansas Wesleyan University at 11 a.m.
