Baseball Tigers fall to No. 14 Bruins

Central Christian College’s baseball team was no match for powerful and nationally ranked Bellevue University here Friday.

The 14th-ranked Bruins, who entered the day 6-2 in the MCAC and 27-7 overall, won the opener 16-2 as they pounded out 18 hits. 

No Tiger had more than one hit. Bellevue scored four runs in each of the first three innings.

The Bruins were a 7-1 winner in the second game as Central managed only two hits, one an RBI knock by Clayton Cramer. It was just a 3-1 game until the sixth.

Central, now 2-12 in the MCAC and 7-32 overall, hosts the Bruins again today starting at noon.
