MC women netters get best of KW, 7-2

McPherson College’s women’s tennis team lost one singles match and one doubles match in a 7-2 victory over Kansas Wesleyan here Saturday in its KCAC opener.

"We played a team today in Kansas Wesleyan that fought very hard," Mac coach Justin Stuckey said. "I was very happy with how smart we played today in singles and doubles."

The Bulldogs won the two top doubles matches and five of six at singles.

Mac hosts Bethel on Monday in what could very well be for the KCAC championship as the teams are regarded the two best in conference play.
