LINCOLN — Little River easily took care of Ellis and Lincoln during a baseball triangular on Tuesday.
The Redskins improved their record to 3-1.
Against Ellis, Little River spotted the Railroaders a 3-0 first-inning lead and it was 4-1 after two. But the Redskins scored eight unanswered runs for the win.
Little River’s Kyler Cox had two hits and Dalton Arnold had a double. Eight different Redskins had at least one hit. Levi Swenson settled down after a shaky start to record the victory, going all seven innings and of the four runs he allowed, only one was earned.
Little River crushed Lincoln with an 11-run first inning to cruise to a 20-3 victory as the game was ended after three innings due to the run rule.
The Redskins received eight walks. Cordell Moore had a huge game by going 3 for 3 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Arnold had another double and he also was the winning pitcher.
