SEDGWICK — Little River’s baseball team and Sedgwick swapped lopsided decisions on Thursday.

The Redskins thundered to a 9-0 first-inning lead in Game 1 and went on to rout the Cardinals, 18-4.

Offensive stickouts for Little River were Jeb Sauer (two hits, two runs scored, two RBIs), Kyler Cox (two RBIs), Cordell Moore (three hits, three RBIs), JJ Porter (three runs scored, four RBIs), Levi Swenson (two RBIs) and Damien Martinez (three RBIs).

All that offense allowed Moore to cruise on the mound, as he struck out eight and gave up only one earned run.

Sedgwick turned the tables in Game 2, chipping away for an 11-1 victory as Little River was held to only four hits — two of them by Kyler Cox.

Martinez took the loss.

Little River is now 4-2 on the season.
