McPherson College’s track and field team dominated the KCAC weekly honors today.

Josiah Oyebefun was named Track Athlete of the Week and Art Hop repeated as Field Athlete of the Week.

Oyebefun ran 22.17 in the 200 meters at the K.T. Woodman Classic, which gives him the KCAC’s best mark of the season. He was fourth out of all NAIA sprinters in the meet at Wichita. He’s third in the KCAC in the 100 at 10.98.

Hop went 16-3/4 in the pole vault and he now ranks fourth in the nation. He was a quarter-inch off the school record. He also won the award last week.
