BUHLER — McPherson High freshman Kenzie Goering didn’t have a conflict with softball on Tuesday, so she competed in the Buhler JV Invitational Track and Field Meet.

All she did in her first-ever high school meet was triple jump 35-0, which would rank her second in Class 4A, according to Bullpup coach Jace Pavlovich. Goering also bounded 15-9 in the long jump to win first. And she completed her hat trick by winning the 200 in 28.3.

Sydney Mossman won the girls javelin as well for the Bullpups. For the boys, seconds by Devin Cape in the long jump and Luke Koehn in the javelin were the individual highlights.
