LAWRENCE — Bethany College’s Aspen Bryant has established herself as one of the top women college golfers in NAIA.
Bryant recorded her second straight tournament victory on Thursday as she won the two-day Baker University Invitational.
Bryant shot rounds of 80-81 for a 161 total and three-shot margin.
"This was a great tournament for Aspen. She played strong from start to finish and won her second tournament in a row," Bethany coach Jon Daniels said. "We have a few days to prepare for the conference tournament and polish up our game. I'm proud of how these girls are competing and the improvement is evident."
Bryant’s sister, Arianna, was 15th with a score of 181. Other Bethany scores were Lexi Pauls (205) and Rachel Meyer (215).
The Swedes took seventh out of nine teams.
Bethany’s next action will be April 27-28 at the KCAC Championships in Garden City.
