LINDSBORG — Bethany College softball coach Janice Esses has announced the signing of Elizabeth "Ellie" Endsley to a letter of intent.
Endsley, a first baseman-catcher from Las Vegas, is from Spring Valley High School, where she was a four-year starter. She had an incredible senior season, hitting .608 with 20 RBISs.
Endsley received numerous honors, including: Spring Valley High School team captain 2014 and 2015, second-team All-Northwest League 2013 and 2014, 2014 Spring Valley High School Defensive Player of the Year, 2013 Spring Valley High School Golden Glove, 2012 Spring Valley High School Rookie of the Year (top freshman), 2012 MaxPreps Most RBIs for a freshman (Nevada high schools) and honorable mention All-Conference 2012.
In addition to softball, Endsley was a member of concert band 2012-2015 and marching band 2011-2012.
"We are excited to have Elizabeth "Ellie" Endsley join our softball family," Esses said. "She is a solid defender at the corners and behind the plate. She will bring additional power to our lineup. Ellie has excelled in the classroom and on the softball field. We are excited to see her develop even more within our program."
Endsley, the daughter of Blaine and Mary Endsley, has a 3.62 grade point average. She plans to major in criminal justice.
