SEDGWICK — Canton-Galva’s baseball team is now at .500 after losing two games on Tuesday to Sedgwick.

The Eagles are 3-3 and play Friday at state-ranked Little River.

Sedgwick won the first game 7-2 despite the effort of Connor Farnham. He accounted for the Eagles’ scoring with a two-run homer and while he took the loss on the mound, he gave up just five hits.

Collin Riessig added a double for C-G.

It was all Sedgwick in Game 2, 11-1. Farnham had both Eagle hits, one of them a double. Nick Bray took the loss, though C-G coach Kelly Nelson said he allowed only six hits and was the victim of some errors behind him. Nelson added the Eagles hit the ball hard, but right at the defenders.
