HILLSBORO — It was another tough day for McPherson College’s baseball team as the Bulldogs lost two games to 10th-ranked Tabor, which wound up sweeping the four-game series that was delayed twice by rain over the weekend.

The Bulldogs’ lack of pitching depth really showed up on Tuesday as Tabor pounded away with big offensive performances.

Game 1 was a 16-5 Bluejay victory. Mac’s Stephon Miller sparkled in defeat by going 4 for 4. Kyle McDonald and Dylan Fontenot added two hits apiece. Keegan Hays took the loss.

The Bulldogs were held to three hits in an 11-0 second-game loss. McDonald, Bryce Strecker and Evan Willow had the Mac hits. Jesse Correll suffered the loss.

The Bulldogs are 2-18 in the KCAC and 8-40 overall. They close out the season with four games against Kansas Wesleyan, two on Thursday at Salina and two on Saturday at Light Capital Diamond.
