FAIRFIELD — They’re small, but they’re mighty.

The Little River boys and girls don’t have great numbers out for track and field this season, but the marks are all quality.

The Redskin teams competed Tuesday in the Fairfield Invitational and came away with several fine performances.

Highlights of the day were a triple by Zach Galyon in the shorter sprints and a double by Erin Hudson in two jumping events.

Tyler Amsden, Logan Hodgson and Colin January also won a single event for the boys, and Rebecca Hawkinson and Ruth Lehman grabbed a gold apiece for the girls.
