Inman's Renner doubles at Herington

HERINGTON — Inman’s Caleb Renner doubled up in the long distance races on Tuesday to highlight the Teutons’ performances in the Herington Invitational Track and Field Meet.

Renner won both the 1,600 and 3,200 while also placing fourth in the 800 as he accounted for about half of the Teutons’ 47 points, which gave them fourth place. Powerhouse Berean won the title with 215, while Herington (143) and Marion (50) also were ahead of the Teutons.

The Inman girls scored 81 points to take third place behind Berean (136) and Centre (82). Winners on the day for the Teutons were Taryn Glenn in the 200, Kaylee Wedel in the 300 hurdles and the 4 x 400 relay team.
