BC's Carson picked to softball 1st team

Bethany College’s Jenna Carson was named to the KCAC softball first team in a vote of coaches.

She was picked at second base.

The Swedes’ Jordan Blakesley, Emily Causey, Jasmine Stewart and Camille McIver made the second team.

McPherson College’s Emily Davis and Simone Donaldson were picked honorable mention, along with Bethany’s Jasmine Zaker.

Mac's Sydney Lipton was picked as a Gold Glove winner at third base.

McPherson College graduate Tony Segovia, who led Friends to the KCAC title, was named Coach of the Year.

Player of the Year is Khadijah Bland of Friends. Pitchers of the Year were Brenna Westemeier of Friends and Gabby Markham of Ottawa. Saint Mary’s Ceara Barker was Newcomer of the Year and Kansas Wesleyan’s McKenzie Draper was picked Freshman of the Year.
