GREAT BEND — Every game for the Bethany College softball team is now do-or-die.

The Swedes stayed alive in the KCAC Postseason Tournament on Thursday with a stunning sweep of three games.

Bethany had lost in the first round to Tabor on Wednesday, but battled back in what amounted to a tripleheader.

Bethany sent regular-season champion Friends home without the Falcons winning a tourney game with a 9-3 win. The Swedes then won 10-1 over Sterling and 4-0 over Southwestern.

They are now in the final three, as they play Tabor in a rematch today at 1 p.m. The winner takes on Kansas Wesleyan, which is the only undefeated team left. The Coyotes have a game to play with as if they lose their first game, another would be played since the tourney is double-elimination.

Jasmine Stewart was the winning pitcher in Games 1 and 3, with Kiersten Stolley the winner in the middle game.

Bethany is now 28-24 on the season.
